Event Description
The The Chamber's 10th Annual Women in Business Celebration is set for Tuesday, Oct. 2, 11:30 a.m., at the Doubletree by Hilton Decatur Riverfront and presented by Nucor Steel Decatur.
This event is presented by Nucor Steel Decatur.
The event will feature a keynote address from Stacy Brown, founder of Chicken Salad Chick. Brown will share her entrepreneurial journey from developing her chicken salad recipes in her home kitchen in Auburn, Ala. to her company being worth more than $75 million and featuring 85 locations across the United States.
The luncheon will also feature the presentation of the International Athena Leadership Award to a member of the Morgan County business community who demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in her profession. Recipients not only provide valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community, but also actively assist other women in realizing their full leadership potential.
Tickets are $30 for members and $50 for non-members. Online RSVP information will be available soon.
