Event Description Make plans to attend the Committee on Church Cooperation’s 9.11: Reflect • Connect at the CCC in downtown Decatur. We will remember those who have sacrificed for our nation in and out of uniform and help veterans and civilians connect with pertinent social and wellness resources in the Morgan County area. Co-hosted by Decatur’s American Legion Auxiliary, the CCC’s regularly scheduled Soup Kitchen will include a barbeque lunch provided by Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q, Danville Road location, and local Elks and Emblem Clubs. Take advantage of this chance to connect on-site with veterans’ affairs and career center personnel, health professionals and local non-profit services and agencies. The CCC, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization providing hope and care to the needy for the past 44 years, is located at 119 First Avenue, NE, in downtown Decatur. The CCC and the Auxiliary seek to help you move bravely forward into your best future!
