Jun 3    CCC Rummage Sale
The Committee on Church Cooperation (CCC) is hosting their annual Rummage Sale Friday, June 3, 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. at their location on First Ave. downtown. The sale features a long list of items, including furniture, household items, books, and much more. Proceeds will benefit the work of the CCC in our community.

Jun 20 - Jun 23    SWeETy Camp
Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce and Calhoun Community College team up to present the Summer Welding & Electrical Technology Camp for 9th – 12th grade girls. This free camp provides hands-on experience in welding and electricity and help students develop problem solving skills and teamwork as they participate in instructor-led projects, field trips, and interact with women role models during industry sponsored lunches. We have also added a second camp to the lineup in partnership with local schools and business and industry partners.

Diane is a well-known trainer and speaker who will bring her own brand of humor, personal experiences and valuable information to the workshop. The workshops have been designed to help you improve your business and workplace skills. Whether you are a for-profit business or a nonprofit organization, these sessions are planned to help you.
 
Her workshops and seminars have been utilized by small and large businesses, small and large nonprofit organizations and individuals. She takes great pride in relating information and teaching the skills that can be used by anyone and in virtually every type of business and nonprofit organizations.
 
Diane has taught classes for the Better Business Bureau, Chambers of Commerce, various businesses, nonprofit organizations, at local and national conferences and more. 
 
With over 28 years of experience in marketing, public relations, sales, development and writing, she is sure to have some vital information that can benefit you. As an award winning Toast Master, her speaking and teaching style is easy-going and comfortable. She interjects fun and learning exercises when appropriate, designed to make you think and learn about yourself in addition to learning how to improve your work habits and your workplace.
 
Diane involves attendees and/or important information that you can use immediately upon leaving the class, all at a very reasonable fee.
 
Workshops are usually 1 1/2 - to three hours so that staff doesn’t have to stay away from the job all day. Attendees that come to Diane’s sessions say she teaches more in two hours than most people do in all day sessions!
